Given Wisconsin Lutheran's advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked second, while New Berlin West is ranked 66th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Wisconsin Lutheran pushed their record up to 19-2 with the victory, which was their 22nd straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 82.6 points over those games. As for Pewaukee, their win bumped their record up to 14-6.

Pewaukee lost to Wisconsin Lutheran on the road by a decisive 71-53 margin in their previous meeting back in January. Can Pewaukee avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
