Smithtown West won the last time they faced West Islip and things went their way on Monday too. Smithtown West put the hurt on West Islip with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory was familiar territory for Smithtown West, who have now won four matches in a row.

Smithtown West not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept West Islip between 15 and 18 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-15, 25-18.

Taylor Marsh paced Smithtown West's offense, picking up nine kills. Marsh got some help from Kalia Wheeler and her 20 assists. Wheeler was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.
