Castle won against Evansville Mater Dei on Monday with seven runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Knights walked away with a 7-2 win over the Evansville Central Bears. Winning may never get old, but the Knights sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

Castle pushed their record up to 20-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Evansville Central, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-17 record.

Coming up, Castle will challenge Forest Park at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Evansville Central, they will square off against Southridge at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
