Basketball Recap: West Point-Beemer Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home

West Point-Beemer was the 47-43 winner over Scotus when they last played one another back in December of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The West Point-Beemer Cadets received a blow on Thursday as they fell 56-42 to the Scotus Shamrocks.

West Point-Beemer lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Brayden Doggett, who posted 12 points. Myles Nielsen was another key player, putting up ten points.

West Point-Beemer's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-7. As for Scotus, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-6.

West Point-Beemer didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 47-29 loss against Ashland-Greenwood on the 1st. As for Scotus, they will challenge Cozad at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Cozad is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 63.8 points per game this season.
