Baseball Game Preview: Raymond/South Bend Ravens vs. Morton/White Pass Timberwolves

The Raymond/South Bend Ravens will square off against the Morton/White Pass Timberwolves at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Raymond/South Bend and nine for Morton/White Pass.

On Tuesday, Raymond/South Bend didn't have quite enough to beat Wahkiakum and fell 10-9.

Jonah Rumbles made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. He also got a hit, marking his first of the season. Edgar Chavez was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Morton/White Pass came up short against Winlock on Friday, falling 16-5. That's two games in a row now that the Timberwolves have lost by exactly 11 runs.

Raymond/South Bend's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Morton/White Pass, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9.
