Volleyball Game Preview: Jefferson Silver Foxes vs. El Paso Tigers

Jefferson hasn't had much luck against El Paso recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Silver Foxes will challenge the Tigers at 6:40 p.m.

Jefferson lost 3-0 to Chapin on Tuesday.

While Jefferson had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-19, 25-22.

Meanwhile, El Paso had just enough and edged out Andress 3-2 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Tigers have posted against the Eagles since September 2, 2022.

El Paso took Andress into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The final score came out to 25-18, 26-28, 19-25, 25-20, 15-13.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 14-12. As for El Paso, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-13 record this season.
