Baseball Recap: Clark Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Clark can now relate to. They fell just short of the Bonanza Bengals by a score of 5-4 on Wednesday. The Chargers haven't had much luck with the Bengals recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Kellen Anunson put in work no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. Anunson was also big at the plate, going 4-for-6 with one RBI.

In other batting news, Drew Hernandez made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 4-for-6 with one run and one RBI.

Clark's loss dropped their record down to 17-13. As for Bonanza, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-17.

Clark does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bonanza, they will square off against Durango at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bengals will need to watch out since the Trailblazers have now posted at least ten runs in their last four games.
