Basketball Game Preview: Concordia Prep Saints vs. Severn School Admirals

The Concordia Prep Saints will face off against the Severn School Admirals at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Concordia Prep's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six matches.

Concordia Prep is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against City College on Monday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Concordia Prep took a blow against City College, falling 87-57. The Saints were down 66-43 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Despite the defeat, Concordia Prep got top-tier performance from Presley Prettyman, who went 7 for 13 on his way to 19 points. The dominant performance gave Prettyman a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Noah Robinson, who posted ten points.

Meanwhile, Severn School had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They walked away with a 58-50 win over the Saints.

Severn School pushed their record up to 12-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Concordia Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 8-8.
