Holden hadn't beaten Lafayette County on the road since November 2, 2018 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. The Eagles breezed past the Huskers to the tune of 35-6. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 21-0.

The win made it two in a row for Holden and bumps their season record up to 5-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 49.0 points over those games. As for Lafayette County, they dropped their record down to 0-6 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coming up, Holden will face off against Richmond at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Spartans have now posted at least 31 points in their last four games.
