It was a good run, but Hardin County unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Sunday. They took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mount Juliet Golden Bears.

Hardin County now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Mount Juliet, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 13-3-1.

Looking ahead, Hardin County will head out on the road to face off against Jackson North Side at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mount Juliet, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hendersonville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hendersonville's pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so Mount Juliet's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
