After a string of four wins, Oregon's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Baraboo Thunderbirds. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Thunderbirds this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

The 3-1 doesn't really show just how close this match was: all the sets Oregon lost were decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 21-25, 26-24, 25-23.

Oregon's loss came despite strong showings from Alexis Fields and Devin Howard. Fields had 20 digs and two aces, while Howard had 11 digs and one assist.

Oregon's defeat dropped their record down to 15-19. As for Baraboo, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 14-18.

Coming up, Oregon will be playing at home against Reedsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Baraboo, they will face off against DeForest at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
