Basketball Recap: Marple Newtown Comes Up Short

Marple Newtown lost against Lower Moreland back in January of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Marple Newtown Fightin' Tigers fell 54-46 to the Lower Moreland Lions. The Fightin' Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Marple Newtown's defeat dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Lower Moreland, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Marple Newtown nor Lower Moreland have any future games scheduled.
