Basketball Recap: Ponca Takes a Loss

Ponca was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 55-33 to the Vermillion Tanagers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Indians have suffered since February 6th.

Ponca's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Vermillion, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Ponca and Tri County Northeast will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Vermillion will take on Centerville in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Centerville's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matches.
