Volleyball Recap: Lordstown Starts Season with Win at Home

Lordstown took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Monday. Everything went their way against the McKinley Trojans as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Red Devils, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

McKinley dropped their record down to 1-1 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Lordstown and McKinley will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Red Devils will challenge rival Bristol at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, McKinley is set to take on their familiar foe Lowellville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
