Softball Preview: Jefferson Eagles vs. Whitewater Whippets
Jefferson has gone a perfect 10-0 against Whitewater recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Eagles will square off against the Whippets at 5:00 p.m. Jefferson is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.
Jefferson's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. Everything went their way against East Troy as they made off with a 10-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.
Natalie Weber made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double.
