Basketball Recap: Meridian Takes Down Ranked Borah

On Wednesday, Meridian faced Borah in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Meridian Warriors enjoyed a cozy 53-39 win over the Borah Lions. The victory was nothing new for the Warriors as they're now sitting on five straight.

Meridian pushed their record up to 11-8 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Borah, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Meridian will face off against Kuna at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meridian is facing Kuna at the right time seeing as Kuna is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Borah, they will challenge Owyhee at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Owyhee's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests.
