Mitchell has gone 10-0 against Hudson recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Mitchell Mustangs will venture away from home to take on the Hudson Cobras at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Hudson is hoping to do what River Ridge couldn't on Saturday: put an end to Mitchell's winning streak, which now stands at four games. Mitchell never let River Ridge onto the board and left with a 6-0 win. Given the Mustangs' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 25th, while the Royal Knights are ranked 114th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Hudson hasn't lost a match since December 13, 2024, a trend which continued in their latest game on Thursday. Everything went their way against Angeline Academy of Innovation as Hudson made off with a 3-0 victory. The Cobras better thank their lucky stars for the performance of Diego Munoz, as he scored every single goal for his team.

Mitchell's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-1-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 50 goals over those eight matchups. As for Hudson, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3-3 record this season.

Everything went Mitchell's way against Hudson in their previous matchup back in November of 2023, as Mitchell made off with an 8-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mitchell since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
