Baseball Recap: First Assembly Christian Takes a Loss

First Assembly Christian had lost three straight on the road, but on Monday they dropped their record down to 13-18-1 to make it four. They fell 4-1 to the Evangelical Christian Eagles. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Crusaders couldn't push the score so high this time.

First Assembly Christian saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Christian Forrest, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base and one run. Forrest is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played.

As for Evangelical Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season. The victory made it back-to-back wins for they.

On Evangelical Christian's side, Knox Aaron was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs and two doubles. Those two doubles gave Aaron a new career-high. Banks Addison was another key player, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
