Naperville North unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell 20-14 to the New Trier Trevians on Friday. The Huskies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trevians apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Dante Colasante threw for 50 yards on four of ten attempts. Jack Zitko was his top target, picking up 37 receiving yards.

Naperville North is taking a road trip to square off against Libertyville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for New Trier, they will welcome Waubonsie Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
