Reidsville let Walkertown stack four runs on them in the third inning on Monday but luckily Reidsville prevailed anyway. The Rams narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Wolfpack 7-6. This was a revenge game for the Rams: when they faced off against the Wolfpack last Tuesday, they had to take a 6-5 defeat.

Braeden Snow and Kristian Scales did most of the damage at the plate: Snow went 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI, while Scales went 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Scales is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

The win made it two in a row for Reidsville and bumps their season record up to 6-9. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs in those games. As for Walkertown, they moved to 15-4 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Reidsville didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 17-2 win against North Forsyth on the 15th. As for Walkertown, they have also already played their next matchup, an 11-1 defeat against West Stokes on the 15th.
