Softball Preview: Jacksonville Golden Eagles vs. Oneonta Redskins
The Jacksonville Golden Eagles will head out to challenge the Oneonta Redskins at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
Jacksonville came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 7-1 to Pleasant Valley.
Jacksonville saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Avery Allen, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.
Meanwhile, Oneonta had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 7-2 victory over Pennington on Friday.
