Marie Salisbury Game Report: @ Hancock

While Ishpeming might've come up empty on Thursday, Marie Salisbury wasn't going down without a fight. Salisbury struck out nine batters over 5.2 innings while giving up five earned (and eight unearned) runs off eight hits. The performance also marked the fewest walks (four) she has had since back in April of 2024.

Salisbury and Ishpeming will square off against Kingsford at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. The Hematites had to take a loss when they last met the Flivvers, but Salisbury had little to do with the loss: she got on base in two of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases.
