Baseball Recap: United South Central Takes a Loss

United South Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 8-2 to the Hayfield Vikings. The contest marked the Rebels' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

United South Central saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Seth Kayser, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

United South Central's record is now 6-6. As for Hayfield, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. United South Central will venture away from home to take on St. James at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Hayfield, they will head out to challenge Goodhue at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
