Baseball Recap: Palos Verdes Finds Home Field Redemption Against Torrance

There's no place like home for Palos Verdes, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against the Torrance Tartars by a score of 4-1 on Wednesday. This was a revenge game for the Sea Kings: when they faced off against the Tartars back in March, they had to take a 7-3 loss.

Wyatt Malloy tossed a big game, pitching five innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Franco Correa, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high.
