West Rowan is 9-1 against Concord since May of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The West Rowan Falcons will be playing at home against the Concord Spiders at 6:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (West Rowan has four straight victories, Concord has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
West Rowan had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 11-run drubbing they dealt Northwest Guilford on Saturday. West Rowan's pitchers stepped up to hand Northwest Guilford an 11-0 shutout. The contest marked the Falcons' most dominant win of the season so far.

Chase Fisher looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Brice Knox was a standout: he scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Maddox Moore was another key player, scoring two runs while going 4-for-4.
West Rowan kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in March of 2024.
Meanwhile, Concord lost 14-4 to South Rowan on Saturday.
Concord saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maxwell Pryduluk, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Those two hits gave Pryduluk a new career-high.
Concord's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for West Rowan, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.
Concord's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: West Rowan has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .439. It's a different story for Concord, though, as they've only averaged .300. Will they be able to contain West Rowan's hitters?
Everything went West Rowan's way against Concord in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as West Rowan made off with a 9-0 win. Does West Rowan have another victory up their sleeve, or will Concord turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
