Basketball Recap: Four Rivers Comes Up Short

After flying high against Huntington last Friday, Four Rivers came back down to earth. The Four Rivers Falcons fell 60-48 to the Harper Hornets on Tuesday. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Four Rivers has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season. As for Harper, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Four Rivers will host Dayville/Monument at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Four Rivers is facing Dayville/Monument at the right time seeing as Dayville/Monument is stuck on a 14-game losing streak. As for Harper, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Prairie City/Burnt River at 7:30 p.m. Harper has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
