Basketball Recap: Douglas Skates Past Crossville with Ease

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Kate Duncan Smith DAR, Douglas was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Crossville Lions, posting a 45-11 win. That 34 point margin sets a new team best for the Eagles this season.

Douglas moved to 5-16 with that victory, which also ended their eight-game losing streak. As for Crossville, their defeat was their 20th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-16.

Douglas will venture away from home to face off against Locust Fork at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Crossville, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Crossville Lions challenge the Woodville Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
