Softball Preview: Mead Mavericks vs. Legacy Lightning

On Tuesday Mead will have to hit the road after three straight games at home. They will venture away from home to challenge the Legacy Lightning at 4:00 p.m. Mead is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 12.1 runs per game this season.

Things were looking good for Mead after they put the first points on the board on Saturday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Pueblo West by a score of 17-16. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Saturday (12), the Mavericks still had to take the loss.
