Baseball Game Preview: Geneva Vikings vs. Glenbard North Panthers

For the second straight game, Geneva will face off against Glenbard North. The Vikings will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against the Panthers at 4:30 p.m. The timing is sure in Geneva's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Glenbard North has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.

While Geneva's victory against Glenbard North wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Vikings had just enough and edged out the Panthers 5-4 on Monday. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Mason Bruesch, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Miles Dibble, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and one run.

Glenbard North now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Geneva, their victory bumped their record up to 16-5.
