Basketball Recap: Mariner Takes a Loss

Mariner lost against Glacier Peak back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mariner Marauders lost 58-35 to the Glacier Peak Grizzlies. The match marked the Marauders' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Mariner now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Glacier Peak, they pushed their record up to 11-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

The future could be bright for both Mariner and Glacier Peak: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Mariner will try to hand Lynnwood their third-straight loss when the two meet at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Glacier Peak will try to hand Cascade their seventh-straight defeat when the two meet at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
