Volleyball Preview: Rochester Rockets vs. Springfield Senators
Rochester has been on the road for four straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will welcome the Springfield Senators at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Saturday, Rochester beat East St. Louis 2-0.
Rochester easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-18.
Meanwhile, Springfield entered their tilt with Mt. Pulaski on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Hilltoppers by a score of 2-0.
Springfield can attribute much of their success to Madison Clark, who had four digs and 16 assists. Clark is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 16 or more in the last eight games she's played dating back to last season.
Rochester has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 14-13 record this season. As for Springfield, they now also have a winning record of 14-13.
