Baseball Recap: Skyview Takes a Loss

Skyview extended their losing streak to six on Friday, dropping their season record down to 7-13 in the process. They came up short against the Prairie Falcons, falling 6-0. The Storm were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

As for Prairie, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games.

For Prairie's part, their victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Owen Dirks, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Kaleb Cave was another, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

As of now, neither Skyview nor Prairie have any future games scheduled.
