On Thursday, Roanoke Valley Christian came up short against Temple Christian and fell 3-1. While the EAGLES didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Crusaders 25-15 in the first set.

The victory continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Conquerors: they've now won four in a row.
Westover Christian Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 15-25, 25-20, 25-17, 25-23.
Roanoke Valley Christian's loss dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Westover Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 11-10.
Everything went Roanoke Valley Christian's way against Westover Christian Academy when the teams last played on Tuesday, as Roanoke Valley Christian made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the EAGLES since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
