Basketball Game Preview: Spring Hill Raiders vs. Coffee County Central Red Raiders

The Spring Hill Raiders will square off against the Coffee County Central Red Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Spring Hill will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating Columbia Central, who they had gone 0-8 against in their eight prior meetings. Spring Hill secured a 38-33 W over Columbia Central on Saturday.

Emma Sharp was her usual excellent self, putting up 18 points and eight steals. Those eight steals gave her a new career-high. Alayzia Harrison was another key player, posting 11 points.

Meanwhile, Coffee County Central put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 61-51 win over Lincoln County.

Coffee County Central pushed their record up to 20-0 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home. As for Spring Hill, their win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-12.

Spring Hill might still be hurting after the 74-54 loss they got from Coffee County Central in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Can Spring Hill avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
