Softball Recap: Bravo's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

If Bravo was riding high fresh off their 14-4 takedown of Hamilton last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Knights fell 8-3 to the Arleta Mustangs on Wednesday. The loss was the Knights' first of the season.

Savannah Durazo was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Katherine Nungaray, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

Having lost for the first time this season, Bravo fell to 3-1. As for Arleta, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-5.

Coming up, Bravo will be playing at home against Lincoln at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Arleta, they will be taking part in a tournament against South Gate at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
