Southeast has gone 9-1 against Wright recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Cyclones will head out on the road to take on the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

Southeast is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Wyoming's top teams: Saratoga, who was ranked 14th at the time (Southeast was ranked 22nd). The Cyclones took a blow against the Panthers on Thursday, falling 60-0. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Cyclones were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 60-13, which was the final score in Wright's tilt against Pine Bluffs on Friday.

Southeast's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Wright, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Southeast took their victory against Wright when the teams last played back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 38-13 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cyclones since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
