Denton's and Sherman's match on Tuesday was close at halftime, but Denton turned on the heat in the second half with five goals. The Denton Broncos were the clear victor by a 5-1 margin over the Sherman Bearcats. Winning may never get old, but the Broncos sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

They hit Sherman with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Joel Rodriguez (2), Colin Rennick, Chris Guillen, and Sergio Melchor.

Denton's victory bumped their record up to 4-0-1. As for Sherman, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Denton will be playing at home against Joshua at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Denton knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Joshua likes a good challenge. As for Sherman, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Sherman challenge the The Colony at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
