McIntosh County Academy won the last time they faced Bryan County, and things went their way on Friday too. Everything went the McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers' way against the Bryan County Redskins as the McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers made off with a 36-14 win. Considering the Buccaneers have won three matches by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Nehemiah West had a dynamite game for McIntosh County Academy, rushing for 123 yards and two touchdowns. West really tore up the turf during one magnificent 77-yard run. The team also got some help courtesy of Greg Peacock, who rushed for 62 yards and a touchdown.

Despite the loss, Bryan County still got an impressive performance from Anddreas Mckinny, who rushed for 114 yards and a touchdown. Mckinny's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his eighth straight game with at least 105 rushing yards dating back to last season. Elijah Mincey made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

McIntosh County Academy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for Bryan County, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

McIntosh County Academy will challenge Metter at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both have allowed few points on average, (McIntosh County Academy: 13.7, Metter: 8.3) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Bryan County, they will take on Jenkins County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
