Football Game Preview: Burney Raiders vs. Chester Volcanoes + How To Watch

The Burney Raiders will head out on the road to face off against the Chester Volcanoes at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Saturday, Burney was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 24-20 to Loyalton.

Meanwhile, Chester was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were outmatched by Tulelake and fell 54-20. The Volcanoes were down 40-14 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Burney's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Chester, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

Burney was able to grind out a solid victory over Chester in their previous meeting back in September, winning 18-8. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Raiders since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
