Roger Bacon won the last time they faced Badin, and Alex Weigand did his part to make sure it happened again. The Spartans walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Rams on Monday with plenty of help from Weigand, who had 27 assists and eight digs. He is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 16 or more in each of the last 15 games he's played.

Roger Bacon had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-19, 25-12, 26-24.

Roger Bacon's win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Badin, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 12-9 record.

Roger Bacon has already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Archbishop McNicholas on the 6th. Badin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
