Softball Recap: Bear River Bears vs. Snow Canyon Warriors        
        
		
            
 With a playoff game on the line, Bear River rose to the challenge  on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Snow Canyon Warriors by a score of  9-6. For Bear River, this counts as revenge for the   5-2 loss Snow Canyon walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in April of 2023.
  Katelyn Wilson tossed a big game,   pitching six innings while giving up  three earned runs off   six  hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in six consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Bella Douglas was  incredible,  going 4-for-4 with five  RBI, three  runs,  and a  triple.  Alex Udy was another key contributor,  going 2-for-4 with a  home run and three  RBI.
 On Snow Canyon's side,  Meah Stafford was cooking despite her team's loss,   scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
 Bear River's win bumped their record up to 16-9. As for Snow Canyon,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 19-8.
 Bear River is on the road again  on Thursday to play Payson at 10:30  a.m. Payson is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.8  runs per game  this season. Snow Canyon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
