Murphy had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.3 goals) and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They never let the Highlands Highlanders get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. Murphy's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four contests.

Murphy's victory bumped their record up to 4-2-1. As for Highlands, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-6.
