Volleyball Recap: Mason's Run of Four Straight Wins Now Over

Mason and Elder squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Mason had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Panthers. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Comets haven't been shut out since back in April.

Mason moved to 15-6 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak. As for Elder, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.
