It's playoff time, and South Effingham had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Milton Eagles on Saturday. The win was nothing new for the Mustangs as they're now sitting on nine straight.
South Effingham had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-21, 25-19, 25-18.
Morgan Stringer paced South Effingham's offense, picking up 20 kills. Stringer got some help from Leah Magana and her 46 assists. Clara Vorel controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.
South Effingham's victory bumped their record up to 40-10. As for Milton, their loss dropped their record down to 25-16.
