Baseball Recap: New Boston Takes a Loss

New Boston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They came up short against the De Kalb Bears, falling 16-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 back in March.

New Boston's loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for De Kalb, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-9.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. New Boston is set to square off against their familiar foe Queen City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, De Kalb will challenge rival Redwater at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
