Basketball Game Preview: Lewis & Clark Tigers vs. Kamiakin Braves

The Lewis & Clark Tigers will head out on the road to challenge the Kamiakin Braves at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Lewis & Clark heads in on the heels of a playoff matchup on Thursday. They came up short against Richland, falling 86-61. The Tigers' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Meanwhile, Kamiakin suffered their biggest loss since January 17th on Friday. They lost 82-60 to Mead. While losing is never fun, the Braves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 132nd, while the Panthers are ranked 24th).

Kamiakin dropped their record down to 12-10 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Lewis & Clark, their loss dropped their record down to 4-18.

Things could have been worse for Lewis & Clark, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 68-54 loss to Kamiakin in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Can Lewis & Clark avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
