Soccer Game Preview: Mt. Diablo vs. Dougherty Valley

The Mt. Diablo Red Devils will venture away from home to face off against the Dougherty Valley Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Mt. Diablo fell victim to Mt. Eden and their airtight defense on Monday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Monarchs. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, neither Dougherty Valley nor Ygnacio Valley could gain the upper hand on Tuesday so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Jameson Raby and Nawaaz Jalal scored both of Dougherty Valley's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

With that draw, Dougherty Valley's record moves to 2-0-2. As for Mt. Diablo, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
