Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mt. Hope). They blew past the Chariho Chargers 33-7 on Thursday. The Huskies have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Chargers, too.
Mt. Hope had a senior duo take command as Jerry Pimental rushed for 203 yards while picking up 10.2 yards per carry and Ethan Martel threw for 140 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 passes. Those 203 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Pimental.
Mt. Hope pushed their record up to 3-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Chariho, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.
