Baseball Recap: Washington Comes Up Short

If Washington was feeling good fresh off their 8-1 takedown of Lindsay last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors fell just short of the Leopards by a score of 5-4 on Tuesday. The Warriors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Leopards earlier this season, when they won 8-1.

Jack Brady was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Washington's loss dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Lindsay, with the win, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-11.

Coming up, Washington will take on Woodward at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lindsay, they will square off against Newcastle at 5:00 p.m. on the 17th.
