Volleyball Recap: Loganville Takes a Loss

Loganville was the 2-0 winner over Oconee County when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Red Devils fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Oconee County's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cameron Webb, who had 13 digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Webb a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Annabelle (AB) Cureton, who had four aces.

Loganville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Oconee County, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-4.

Loganville has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Brookwood on the 9th. As for Oconee County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Apalachee on the 9th.
